Thank you for attending the 2nd Annual Gensco Charity Golf Tournament! All proceeds went towards two tremendous local charitable organizations; Food Backpacks 4 Kids and Mary Bridge Children's Foundation.
Food Backpacks 4 Kids has a mission to meet the nutritional needs of hungry children and families at times when other resources are not available and to be a stable source of healthy foods for those who need it most. They envision a community where every child is well-fed, can achieve their full potential, and where no family is food insecure.
In 2023, Food Backpacks 4 Kids was named the Nonprofit of the Year by the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce!
Mary Bridge Children’s serves more than 300,000 children each year. More than half of the families served are low-income and more than 60 percent of Mary Bridge Children’s families are on Medicaid.
Because of donations through the Mary Bridge Children’s Foundation, they can provide children with the care they need. Thanks to generous donors, the Foundation continues to support uncompensated care and clinical and community programs not fully covered by insurance.
